Whit Bank Holiday Weekend 23 – 26 May 2008 Exeter
We will be staying at Exeter Youth Hostel. The youth hostel is a spacious early 17th Century house with private gardens and parking, situated on the edge of the city, 10 minutes ride from the city centre where you can visit the cathedral, mysterious Underground Passages, Roman Walls, historic Quay, shops and cafes. From the hostel, you can walk along the canal or the River Exe. Full day walks on Dartmoor and on the coast will be organised for Saturday and Sunday, and a half day walk for Monday.
Four male and four female beds have been booked for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The cost per person for bed and breakfast per night is £25 for YHA members and £27.45 for non members. Evening meals can be booked upon arrival or in advance. The hostel has self catering facilities.
